Payment & Refund Policy
Payment for Premium Services
Scholarar offers premium subscription plans that provide additional features. Payments for these subscriptions are processed through third-party payment platforms, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Subscription Plans: We offer different subscription options, including monthly and annual plans, with respective pricing clearly displayed at the time of purchase.
- Billing Cycle: Your subscription will be billed at the start of the chosen plan (e.g., monthly or yearly) and will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions will automatically renew unless you disable auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription and cancellation preferences directly through your device’s settings (App Store or Google Play Store).

Refund Policy
- No Refunds for Paid Subscriptions: All payments made for premium subscriptions are non-refundable once processed. If you cancel your subscription before the next renewal period, you will continue to have access to premium features until the end of the current billing cycle.
- Billing Discrepancies: If you encounter any issues with billing or payments, please contact the payment provider (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We do not directly handle payment processing or refunds, as they are managed by the third-party payment platforms.
- Subscription Cancellations: If you wish to cancel your subscription, you can do so at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Canceling your subscription will prevent future charges but will not provide a refund for the current billing cycle.

Subscription Payment
- Premium Subscription
Scholarar offers premium subscription plans that provide access to additional features and services within the App. Premium features may include Smart AI Scholarship Matching, Matching Notifications, Scholarship Deadline Tracker, Ad-Free Experience, and Monthly Consultation. Monthly Consultation includes one consultation session per month with Scholarar experts, which must be used within the same month and does not roll over if unused. Subscription options, including pricing, billing cycle, and renewal terms, will be clearly displayed at the time of purchase. Current plans may include Monthly ($9.99) and Yearly ($69.99/year) subscription options. Payments for subscriptions are processed securely through third-party platforms such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Trial and Subscription Transparency
When you start a free trial or purchase a subscription within Scholarar, your payment and billing information is handled securely through third-party platforms (e.g., Google Play or Apple App Store).
We do not store payment information directly. However, we do receive metadata related to your trial status, subscription plan, and renewal schedule for the purpose of managing your account access and support. By using our service, you consent to the collection of non-sensitive subscription-related data as part of your user profile.

- Changes to Subscription Plans
We may update or modify our subscription plans and pricing periodically. We will notify you of any changes in advance, and you may choose to accept the new terms or cancel your subscription before the next renewal.
- Auto-Renewable Subscriptions
- Subscription Plans: You can choose from different subscription plans, which will be clearly listed at the time of purchase. Current plans may include Monthly ($9.99) and Yearly ($69.99/year) subscription options.
- Premium Features: Premium subscriptions may include Smart AI Scholarship Matching, Matching Notifications, Scholarship Deadline Tracker, Ad-Free Experience, and Monthly Consultation. - Billing and Payments: Payments for premium services are processed through third-party providers such as Google Play or Apple App Store. All payments are non-refundable once processed, and any cancellation must be made before the next renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.
- Subscription Management: You can manage your subscription, including upgrading, downgrading, or canceling it, directly through your App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your platform.
One-Time Payment Services
- Online Consultant & Essay Review
- Information Collection: We collect personal data such as your name, contact details, and consultation history to provide and improve our services.
- Use of Information: Your information is used to manage bookings, process payments, and deliver personalized consultation services.
- Data Security: We implement strict security measures to protect your personal information during storage and transmission.
- Sharing of Information: Your data will not be shared with third parties except as required for payment processing (e.g., ABA Pay Bank, Kess Payment) or legal compliance.
- Payment Processing: Payments are securely handled by ABA Pay Bank and Kess Payment. We do not store your payment details.
- User Rights: You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data by contacting our support team.
- Application Payments
- For scholarship applications submitted through the Scholarar App, Scholarar’s admin team may contact you directly to arrange payment.
- Payment must be completed in full as instructed before your application can proceed to the In Review stage.
- Once payment is confirmed, it will be securely recorded by Scholarar and your application will continue in the review process.
- All application payments are final and non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the scholarship application.
- Scholarar does not store sensitive payment details. Only essential payment confirmation records (such as transaction references) are retained for support and account management purposes.
- Course Purchase & Access
- What it is: Paid courses delivered as Online, Physical, and Video Course.
- Payment & access: Pay via ABA KHQR/ABA Scan or Kess Payment. Access starts after payment is confirmed and an in-app Order Detail/receipt.
- One-Time Course Purchase: Buying a single course is a one-time payment for that course only — no auto-renew applies.
- Refunds: All sales final. Non-refundable and non-cancelable once paid and access granted or a seat reserved (except where required by law).
- Rescheduling (In-Person): You may request one reschedule to a later date if you contact us 1 week before the class starts and seats are available. Any price difference may apply. No refunds for reschedules, no-shows, or late arrivals.
- Invoices: Invoices/receipts are available after your payment is successful.
- Pro Package
In addition to subscription-based services, Scholarar offers a Pro Package that provides additional scholarship support services for users who want more comprehensive guidance during their scholarship journey. This package is a one-time purchase and is processed directly by Scholarar’s internal team.
- What it includes: The Pro Package may include everything in Premium for a limited period, together with Full Scholarship Strategy, Essay Review, Interview Preparation, and Application Guidance.
- Internal Team: Payments for the Pro Package are handled by Scholarar’s internal team and are separate from subscription payments.
Application Data Usage
Scholarship Applications and Data Usage
When you use the Application Feature to prepare and submit scholarship applications, Scholarar processes and shares certain personal information in order to facilitate your application. This may include:
- Personal details (e.g., name, contact info, education history, language proficiency, achievements).
- Uploaded documents (e.g., ielts, CV, personal statement, recommendation letter, etc).
- Application preferences and references.
This data is used only for the purpose of preparing and transmitting your application to the relevant scholarship provider.
Important Disclaimer
- Scholarar acts as a facilitator only. We are not the scholarship provider.
- All eligibility checks, reviews, approvals, and final decisions are carried out solely by the scholarship provider.
- Scholarar does not guarantee that any application will be approved or awarded.
- We are not responsible for rejections, delays, or changes made by the provider.
Consent and Sharing
- Your application data is shared with scholarship providers only with your explicit consent.
- By submitting an application through the Scholarar App, you agree that the necessary data will be transferred to the scholarship provider for evaluation.
- Data related to payments and application status updates may also be retained in your account for transparency and support purposes.
Course Data Usage
Course Information Collection
When you use the Course Feature, Scholarar may collect and process course-related information such as enrolled course records, order details, payment confirmation records, course type, lesson activity, progress completion status, access period, and course-related content you choose to submit where available.
Use of Course Information
This information is used to display course details, process enrollment, confirm purchases, provide access to purchased courses, manage participation, track learning progress, maintain purchase history, and support the learning experience within the App, including My Courses, My Orders, My Learning, and access-until dates.
Course Access and Participation
Scholarar may process information necessary to deliver and manage Online, Physical, and Video Courses. Where third-party meeting platforms are used for live classes, limited information may be processed for scheduling, access time/date, and those third-party privacy practices may also apply.
Course Access and Use Restrictions
Course content is provided for personal learning use only. Users may not record, reproduce, redistribute, or share any video lesson or course material unless expressly permitted by Scholarar. Any download or offline access is only available where specifically provided by the App. Unauthorized recording or distribution of course content is prohibited.
B2B Portal & Partner Organization Services
What it is
Scholarar may provide organization-facing portal services to universities, agencies, institutions, and other partner organizations for scholarship posting, applicant management, communication, analytics, team collaboration, billing, and related administrative functions.
University Information
When a university, institution, agency, or other partner organization uses the Scholarar portal, Scholarar may collect and process organization profile information necessary to create, manage, and display the organization’s portal profile and related services, including:
- Organization or university name
- Short name
- Organization type
- City
- Local rank
- Global rank
- Founded date
- Academic calendar
- Total student count
- Description
- Organization logo
- Industry
Contact Information
Scholarar may also collect and process organization contact and public profile information necessary to support communication and display within the portal, including:

- Google Map URL or location details
- Phone number

Account and Administration Information
Scholarar may also process representative details, billing contact details, portal account credentials, plan information, and team member details associated with the organization account.
Scholarship Posting and Portal Content
Scholarar may collect and process information submitted by partner organizations through the portal, including scholarship listings, eligibility requirements, application instructions, deadlines, communication templates, campaign content, and related administrative information necessary to publish and manage opportunities through the platform.
Applicant and Candidate Data
Scholarar may process applicant and candidate information made available through the portal, including profile details, application records, uploaded materials, status updates, communication history, notes, workflow activity, and related records necessary to support applicant review, applicant tracking, and related portal functions.
ATS, Communication, and Workflow Data
Where the portal includes applicant tracking, messaging, analytics, CRM-related tools, campaign features, or related workflow functions, Scholarar may process the data necessary to operate those features, including activity history, pipeline status, user actions, communication logs, and reporting information.
Pricing and Plan Information
Scholarar may offer organization-facing pricing plans and billing options for B2B portal services. Information related to plan selection, pricing inquiries, billing administration, invoicing, payment status, account support, and service configuration may be processed for the purpose of managing the organization’s access to B2B portal features.
Scholarar’s B2B pricing structure may include:

Scholarar may update, customize, or negotiate pricing, service scope, and commercial terms depending on the organization’s needs, service level, or separate agreement.
Use of Information
Organization-related and portal-related information is used to provide and maintain the B2B portal, manage organization accounts, publish scholarships, support applicant tracking and review workflows, enable team collaboration, provide analytics and reporting, improve platform performance, maintain security, prevent misuse, and provide customer support.
Team Access and Permissions
Scholarar may allow partner organizations to create team access for authorized users within the portal. The organization is responsible for managing its internal users, roles, permissions, and access levels, and for ensuring that only authorized personnel access applicant and portal data.
Sharing of Information
Scholarar may share portal-related data with service providers, affiliates, business partners, and authorities only where necessary to provide the portal, support integrations, maintain security, process billing, comply with legal obligations, or carry out other purposes already described in this Privacy Policy. Scholarar does not sell personal data.
Customer Responsibility
Partner organizations are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights, permissions, and lawful basis to upload, access, manage, use, or communicate applicant, scholarship, or related data through the portal. Partner organizations are also responsible for the actions of their authorized users within their organization account.
Integrations and Third-Party Services
Where the B2B portal uses or connects with third-party services, integrations, or external platforms, those providers may process certain data under their own terms and privacy practices. Scholarar is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third-party services, and users should review those policies separately.
Retention, Security, and User Requests
Scholarar retains and protects B2B portal data in accordance with the general retention, deletion, and security provisions of this Privacy Policy. Requests relating to access, correction, or deletion may be submitted to info@scholarar.com, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.
